Changes to line 218

Sadly due to low passenger usage, the last 218 of the day (on weekdays) will now be departing Sheffield at 1815 and departing from Bakewell at 1915. However the 1745 departure from Sheffield will now continue to Matlock arrring there at 1904. Extra time has been added during certain Journeys to helo the buses ramin on time. To also help the buses keep on time the 218, from the Archer Road stop on Abbeydale road the buses will normally only stop to let passengers alight coming back into Sheffield - see the notice below for all details.

Fares Increase - 25th March 2018

At TM Travel we pride ourselves on trying to offer you the best possible ticket options.  It is for that reason we abosrb as many cost increases as we can.  Regrettably though, to allow us to maintain services we cannot absorb them all.  It is for that reason we have had to increase our single and return fares from Sunday 25th March 2018.

We have though frozen our weekly ticket options and simplified them to:-

Travel only on Line 30/X30/30A OR Line 31/31A OR Spira - £12.00 per week

Travel on all TM buses, (save for some schools and contracts) except 218 - £13.50

Travel on all TM buses  (save for some schools and contracts) including 218 - £15.00

We have also maintained our £1.00 fare for pass holders before 09:00.

Maintaining these weekly prices for as long as we can is our small way of thanking you, our loyal customers, for your loyalty.

Launch of enhanced service on Line 30 - 12th November 2017 marks the launch of the new enhanced service on Line 30.  Linking Crystal Peaks ; Beighton ; Woodhouse ; Handsworth to Sheffield fast down the Parkway on Monday to Saturday day times Line 30 is now every 20 mins.  The service also now has bigger buses with the entry into the fleet of two 44 seat Scanias.

Sheffield Children`s Hospital  TM Travel are proud to have donated £104.50 to the Sheffield Children`s Hospital charity. This has been made up from the lost property charges and donations in our charity tin. Details here.

Musical buses - Tramlines 2017

TM Travel was proud to be hired by the Tramlines music festival to do something a little different.  Festival goers needed a means of getting between the two sites, each on different sides of Sheffield, and how better to do it than to have them serenaded by a live music act.

Each of the acts was given twenty five minutes to show passengers what they could do and there were some exceptionally talented acts.

One of those was Tom Jane, a really talented singer - one of whose songs we share with you. He is about to release a debut single, so when he is rich and famous you can say you saw him first on a TM bus.
